William V. DeCandido

Biography

From the date of his admission to the bar, Bill has worked in his own firm. He was a general practitioner for the first ten years of his career, developing a comprehensive knowledge of a variety areas of law. Bill’s legal services were wide ranging from commercial litigation to drafting simple wills. “My early experiences exposed me to a wide array of legal issues and tricky problems, providing a solid foundation for me to now advise individuals and businesses.”

Bill’s early experiences have helped him to seamlessly transition into in-house counsel and business representation. He has advised clients on the formation and structuring of companies, negotiating and drafting investment transactions, shareholder contracts as well as litigating commercial matters in both state and federal court. Bill has served as general counsel to a family office owning over 110 buildings in New York City. He represents various businesses in the capacity as general counsel, including technology, pharmaceutical, media, food, and real estate companies.

In addition to advising businesses, Bill also provides extensive estate planning and estate litigation services. His objective is to deliver personalized and professional services to guide his clients and solve legal and business issues, both big and small.
