Phillip D. Azachi

Biography

Phil started his own practice upon admission to the bar. He managed a portfolio of cases for entrepreneurs and businesses which included commercial litigation as well as the drafting and negotiation of vendor contracts, leases, asset purchases and shareholder agreements. These experiences helped him develop into a general counsel and develop a deeper understanding of local court practices.

The positive results in business law opened new opportunities for him in estate planning and estate administration as many of his business clients had informed him that were unprepared for safeguarding their assets for their families. Phil started preparing trusts, wills, medical directives and powers of attorney for his business clients. Not long after, he expanded his estate services to individuals across the five boroughs and long island having prepared estate plans for hundreds of clients.

Phil advises his clients about probates, intestate administration, accounting proceedings, and will contests. He has helped his clients marshal multimillion dollar bank accounts, financial accounts and real estate. He has also served as a trustee and fiduciary for estates when necessary. Before the Surrogates across New York City, Nassau and Suffolk, he has developed a reputation as a zealous advocate for executors, administrators and beneficiaries seeking expeditious resolutions.
